Move an attendee's registration from one event to another with the same price

You can move an attendee's registration from one event to another if the price is the same. This makes it easy for you to move an attendee if the attendee e.g. must attend on a different date or location.

  • Start by finding the attendee by either searching for the attendee in the upper right corner (1) or by going to the event's status page by clicking on the event title (2) or the status icon (3) in the event list.

  • Click on the yellow edit icon to the right of the attendee you want to move.

  • Click "Move attendee" at the top right.

  • Choose which event you want to move the attendee to (1) and possibly the ticket type for the attendee (2). If the event is part of a series, you first select the series and then the specific event in the series.

What information does the attendee and the orderer receive: 
When paying through EasySignup the orderer will automatically receive a confirmation of the move with an invoice of 0,-. The invoice states which event the attendee has been moved from and to. See an example of the invoice here. 

As default a confirmation e-mail is also sent to the attendee regarding the move, however you can opt out of sending the confirmation to the attendee, and you can also opt out of sending the confirmation to the orderer, if payment has not been made through EasySignup.

Note: The confirmation on the move contains information such as time and place, as well as a link to the new event's terms of registration. This information can be very relevant for the attendee to receive.

  • When you click "Save changes" at the bottom right, the attendee and possible payment will be moved to the new event. At the original event, the attendee will be listed at the bottom of the events status page under "Cancelled registrations".
