Search field for "Company or Organization" (applies to all newly created events)

Your attendees can get search suggestions when filling in the attendee information "Company og Organization" upon registration. This way it is easier for them to fill in the information. The search suggestions come from Virk.dk, which i.a. has a public CVR register. 

If, in addition to "Company or Organization", the attendees must also fill in "Full address - combined field", CVR number or "P number" as attendee information, these fields will automatically be pre-filled with information from Virk.dk. 

This guide shows how the search field works and how you can turn the feature off by default, as the feature is default on af new EasySignup account. 

  • The search field appears, once the button "Start registration" on the registration page has been clicked.

  • Once 3 characters have been entered, a maximum of 10 search suggestions will appear.

  • The attendee will still be able to type more characters, after which the search suggestions will be narrowed down, in order to make it easier to find the right company or organization.

  • Once the attendees clicks on the right company or organisation, any other information, such as address, CVR number and P number, will automatically be pre-filled, provided they have been added as attendee information. Attendees will be able to correct the fields themselves.
  • To add these attendee information, you must add it either in step 4 when creating the event or by editing the event and going to "Registration".

  • Go to the headline "Attendee information" and click on the dropdown where it says "Select from list". 

  • Under "System fields" you will find respectively "Company or Organization", "Full address - combined field", CVR number (validated) and "P number".

  • Select an attendee information and click "Add attendee information" and save at the bottom right.

How an administrator can turn off the feature by default:

  • An administrator can turn off the feature under "Account" -> "Settings" ->"Registration" to make it default, that no search suggestions will appear when filling in "Company or Organization. 

  • Select "No" at "Search field when filling in "Company or Organization"" and click "Save settings" at the bottom right.
