How to cancel (and refund) all or parts of a registration

If you need to cancel all or part of a registration and possibly refund money if the attendee has paid, you can do it easily and quickly in EasySignup.

  • Click on the event title or the status icon.
  • Find the section "Attendees" and the person(s) that you want to cancel. Click on the "X" on the right hand side.
  • If it is an event without payment and you collect information about all attendees choose whether you want to refund the entire order (1), individual attendees (2) and whether you want to send a confirmation of cancellation. Press "Proceed Cancellation" to complete the cancellation.
  • Have you only collected information about the orderer, you'll see a drop down menu if the orderer has registered more than more person. 

    If you have to refund the entire order, you can click "Select all participants" (1).

    If you only have to refund individual persons, choose the number you want to refund (2). View order details by clicking "+" next to the name of the person. Also select whether you want to send a confirmation of cancellation. Press "Proceed Cancellation" to complete the cancellation.
  • Paid registration: You must actively choose what you want to refund. If you have to refund the entire order, you can click "Select all participants" (1).

    If you only have to refund individual persons, select "Yes" next to them (2). View order details by clicking "+" next to the name of the person.


    You will then be given the opportunity to refund additional services. If the additional services are free, you must instead edit the registration, where you can reset the number. See this guide.


    Click the green button and the attendee fee is transferred to the credit card used at registration.
  • You need to enter a bank account number if it is a refund of an invoice payment or EAN. You can also cancel a unpaid invoice payment or EAN.
  • Have you only collected information about the orderer, you'll see a drop down menu if the orderer has registered more than more person. 

    If you have to refund the entire order, you can click "Select all participants" (1).

    If you only have to refund individual persons, choose the number you want to refund (2). View order details by clicking "+" next to the name of the person. You will then be given the opportunity to refund additional services. If the additional services are free, you must instead edit the registration, where you can reset the number. See this guide.

  • If an additional service have been purchased after the initial registration, you need to refund the additional service before you can refund the attendee. If so you will see a small warning triangle with info.

    Show the registration details by clicking on "+"to the left of the attendees name.


  • Then click on the "X" next to the additional service, that has been purchased later.

 

  • In the popup-window you can now refund the additional service.

    Once the additional service has been refunded, you can refund the attendee entirely.
